A Maryland native and graduate of University of Maryland, Bill grew up working as first mate on his father’s charter fishing boat. A natural on boats he expanded his talents, earning his 50 ton USCG Captain's license and delivering many power boats & sail boats up and down the east coast. Still an avid fisherman, he spends many early mornings out in the Bay with an eye out for breaking fish!
Active in his community, Bill is past President of the Galesville Heritage Society & currently a docent on the Thomas Point Light House Tours with Annapolis Maritime Museum.
Working full time in Anne Arundel County real estate for 30+ years, Bill has seen just about everything! His local knowledge of waterfront building restrictions, permits, flood zones, land use and other issues help is clients make the right decisions more efficiently.
Bill strives to have clients for life and after 30+ years he’s proud that nearly all of his clients are either past clients or referrals from past or current clients. There is no greater compliment of Bill Whitman then recommending him to your family and friends for their real estate needs!
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Amelia has joined her father’s real estate business. First earning her Maryland real estate license at the age of 18, she’s not as new to Annapolis & Anne Arundel real estate as her youth might suggest.
In college, Amelia rowed for the Johns Hopkins Women’s Varsity Crew Team. She still rows recreationally but as an avid sailor, now you’ll find her down on the West River at the West River Sailing Club or participating in the Pirates Cove Race Club’s Wednesday night races.
Amelia is a licensed Realtor in Maryland, working primarily in Anne Arundel County and always happy to share her knowledge of Real Estate and the Chesapeake Bay area! She is always looking for ways to assist her clients more efficiently with new technology! A big believer that her office is wherever she happens to be, she strives to quickly assist and communicate with clients, whether on the road or in the office.
The corporate offices are located where the company started, northern Virginia. This is great for our area of Maryland nestled on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay because buyers coming from northern Virginia drive much of our real estate market! Being an agent with Long & Foster I have access to the northern Virginia buyers when many agents with other companies don’t!
Long & Foster is one large company. The Long and Foster in Eastport is not in competition with the Long and Foster Downtown Annapolis! I can walk into any Long and Foster office, whether in Ocean City or Washington DC and just start working! Many other companies are franchises and are often in competition with their nearby offices. This is another reason I choose to affiliate myself with Long & Foster, I think it enables me to serve my clients better!
Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington DC, and North Carolina.
